Condolence: I was Neil's tenant for 3 years - 2003 through 2006. I don't know why he made such an impact on my consciousness or why I think about him all the time, but he did & I do. I've even dreamed a few times about him remodeling the place and getting all fancy (that's definitely not Neil) When I went back to visit him on Navajo a few years ago, a young guy was the new owner and told me that Neil had been moved into a home. Neil was an eccentric and independent guy with a twinkle in his eye...I hope that there was still dignity and joy in his final years. I'm really disappointed to come across his obit, and I hope that somehow our connection lives on.
